Challange is opportunity
Turkey has many challanges, and it’s quite okay. Our challanges are actually opportunities to develop. There isn’t any other way to improve yourself other than to acknowledge the challanges. Consequently, the best way is to create your own challanges, and the easiest way of creating your own challange is enlightenment: investing in the human capabilities.
Culture is the humanities creation
You start building with a foundation. Society is founded upon values, customs and countless cultural constructs. People helped each other, distributed the labour and had the time to contribute to the most intricate parts of the culture. It seems that we inevitably contribute to the culture that raises and nurtures us. As a matter of fact, the most noble contribution is directly to the culture.
Contribute to the culture
If you contribute to the culture, which is a construct that holds us all together; you make human life possible. You support the foundation of the society, the most essential and vital organ of our kind. If you want out of any trouble individually or socially; you fix, improve or change the culture whether it’s personal, group, national or global. Personal culture is what you’ve built so far. Group culture, whether it’s a company or an official institution, is your local groups construct. Furthermore, your nation has accumulated a culture, over the course of history. We also have human culture and culture of the earth altoghether. We may even speak about the culture of the galaxy or the universe.
You first contribute to yourself and move on succesively to the encompassing sets of your being. The defining set would be human culture though. Because more or less human cultures are alike, the main game we play is the human game rather than German or French game. The least common denominator for our existence is to do the human thing that is being intellectual, ideal and aware. You should invest in developing yourself due too your self mostly consists of humanity rather than animality or individuality.
What is the main game we play? We’re aware, we’re subjects of this game, we play as personal characters. We should create as much as we can and in order to create we have to learn as well. The ground corresponds to learning and figure corresponds to creating. Learning creates the contrast for creating, over and above this contrast make us alive. If you don’t create, you’re not using your wings. If you don’t use the creative capacity you’ll be depressed.
Turkey should educate, enlighten and motivate its culture group
Turkey belongs to the Muslim culture group, its main values come from Islam. Modern Turkey has western values, yet neither West nor the common people acknowledged it. This belonging is a challange as well as an opportunity. Turkish nation can now educate all the Muslims and rise through the ranks of enlightenment through its deficiency.
What will be the scope and method of the Muslim enlightenment? Let’s take a teacher, scientist or any knowledge related job. Any job related to knowledge does not only bring wealth but intellectual outcomes as well. You start your journey of learning as well as teaching through these jobs. Enlightenment is one thing you make it up as you go along. The aim and the motivation will be the key.
Turkey failed its education, just like a person that wants to learn and fail. What should a person do? Go to school and learn or go to school and learn and teach! The best way to learn is not being a student, it’s being the theacher. The knowledge is everywhere, you just have to compell yourself. And being a teacher is more compulsive than being a student, it has also more experience and emotions, therefore it’s more succesful. Let’s not forget that Turkey is not an individual but a country; its only way is actually to teach.
The Muslim community lacks a proper teacher that will guide them through reconciling analytical methods with analogies of old. A natural teacher from their culture group is Turkey. It was the leader of the whole community for a millenia, it can be an intellectual leader as well. This way, Turkey may solve its education and culture problem as well. Just like a former leader seeking his past glory.
The best way to rise up through the ranks is enlightenment, manifesting yourself as an intellectual being. And Turkey can rise through focusing on responsibilities of its culture. Freedom or power comes with responsibility.
